Episode 12: I Went Camping With Bas Rutten

Sitting alone in a tent as the moon ducks below the shadowy legion of mountains, the mind inevitably ponders the dangers of the forest. What dangers lurk about? A bear? A poisonous snake? Or perhaps even a wolf. I tell you though, fear not the wolf, snake or bear, but instead he who has perfected the liver shot and recorded a 70% strike accuracy rating. I of course speak of Bas Rutten, the UFC legend.

It has been said that his name induces hibernation among bears and that it was an errant strike of his fist that caused the last great earthquake. Ecological damage aside, Bas is one of the nicest and thoughtful people I’ve had the chance to interview. Join us as he shares stories from his childhood, how he forged himself into “El Guapo” and even his battles with foes not of this world. You've never felt safer camping until you've camped with Bas Rutten.
